[ He's in the bathroom turning the shower on and off. On and off. ]

Whoa! How do they get water in here?

It's light without fire or magic! How is this possible?

[ Much like the dorms, he's going to be in here staring at a can of food. And staring. And staring.

Then he grabs a knife. Hmm. If anyone comes by, he'll stop pondering if he could stab the can. ]

Hey hey, it says there's food inside, right? How do we get to the food?

Music Room

[ He's blowing through a flute to get all the dust out of it before looking it over. ]

Guess this will have to do.

[ He holds it up to his mouth, but doesn't blow just yet. Just moving his fingers to each spot and testing out the mechanism on it. ]

It sure is different here. I don't know if I can get used to it.

Boys Dorm

[ He's lying on one of the beds and looking down at the other with his hand resting on his chin. ]

[Mei's entered the kitchen at some point, but is sticking by the door, perhaps out of caution -- the way she was cautious entering the dining room previously. You never know what those Nomus might be getting up to. And after seeing those serving things and that guy insisting her entire home is a figment of the collective imagination...

A guy in a losing fight with a can might be more normal. She takes a couple steps forward, but certainly not close enough to be in range of the one brandishing a knife at a can of tuna or whatever.]

... You'll ruin it.

[She doesn't bother specifying what's being ruined; too busy dipping into the drawers to look for a can opener. Granted, given the age of the kitchen is the stuff here rusted or not....... the biggest question.]

[So this is what's going on, huh. They're all stuck in this school to learn villainy. That sure is...something she'd really not do.

Now that she got an idea of what's going on, Sonia decides it's high time to check the other two priorities. First! What's this quirk thing? The information she got is quite something! Sonia is at the courtyard, sitting on one of the bennches, reading the pamphlet about her. The sight of the word 'Despot' associated to her name is like a slap to the face, and so is the 'crime' part listed there. Trying her best to ignore those, Sonia focuses on the part about her Quirk.

Once someone approaches, Sonia greets them and asks:]

Can you please help me try this 'Quirk' ability? I never had anything like it before, so I'd like to find out more about it.

[Of course she understands if nobody accepts.

Later she is checking the environment. So it's a school inside a ruinous city inside a barrier. Overall it's much smaller than a bunch of islands, and much more...abandoned. Monokuma had the decency of keeping everything nice and clean, the headmaster here needs to learn a thing or two about that!

There is Sonia, standing beside the pool, looking at it with disapproval]

Everything is in such a pitiful state of disrepair. For someone who wants to convince us to join him in villainy, he is not doing an effort to make himself or the environment appealing at all.

[Which is a big flaw in his plan and therefore a boon for everyone else -- less chances someone will accept. Still, give everything some cleaning, AFO, geez!]

[ He's already sort of been helping with that anyway. ]

[ He'll just be shaking his head and keeping a far distance from the pool. ]

Right? If you're going to try to get someone to join you as a partner in crime at least learn how to pick up after yourself. Otherwise it's just embarrassing.

[Listen there are A Lot Of Issues with all of this, particularly to Maria, but despite said Issues, she makes her way into the courtyard on light, careful feet...and looks around. Actually spins. Looking a bit in...awe, is it? Shock? Between the sky and the vines and the flowers and the fountain and the moss and all of it.]

Oh...my...

Isn't it beautiful? Look at the flowers and all the plant life! And the sky, and the clouds... It's so much nicer than inside, don't you think?

[And then she realizes she is, in fact, talking to someone and clasps her hands politely in front of her with a little bow.]

Oh, I'm so sorry! You were asking me a question, weren't you? And I got a little carried away.

[Mei's drifting through, for the most part -- as she is with most things in the school, given that they have no classes, and no real aim beyond being apparent entertainment for a masked creep raising creepy creeper maid monsters -- and while she's been noticing the increasingly difficulty the other girl in the yard seems to be having with the pamphlet life (maybe relatable...?), she hasn't really given it much thought.

That is, until she gets flagged down, because of course she does. These driveby accidental social entanglements in the past day or so have probably met her entire socializing quota for the next three years. Nevertheless, she pauses, the nondescript notebook tucked under her arm riffling a little in the wind.]

... Probably not, if you ask like that.

[Duck is... busy.

He never comes to bed the night before, and if anyone is also out and about they may find him in the kitchen, cleaning. There's water. There's soap from the laundry room. It's not ideal but tearing up the shirt from his "uniform" gives him rags. So everything gets dusted, dishes washed. The shelves of the fridge are all pulled out and soaking. The power is so iffy it's not really getting cold. Shit.

By morning there is breakfast ready. Freeze dried eggs and canned fruit... Duck looks annoyed by how shitty his work is, but with only his Quirk to cook with and nothing fresh what can you do? At least it's filling.

In the afternoon he's out exploring, discovering the barrier]

I expected more of those creatures, not this...

[And later he's at the carnival scrounging for metal. Trash cans seem to be especially prized, but any container is good. Wanna help?

And by evening he has those containers back, filled with wood and the books that are too gone to use. A puff of his Quirk and we have burn barrels. The nights are dark and full of terrors, after all...]

[In any other circumstance, he might have been a bit offended by the trash fires. But considering how their generous principal neglected to keep the school in decent shape...]

Carnival

[Sonia has been exploring the carnival, kind of wishing everything worked. She's been examining everything until she encountered Peking Duck with a bunch of metal]

Hello. Are you cleaning up, by chance?

[It's the first conclusion she reaches, at least]

[The sight out the windows (well, the ones you can see through, or the broken ones that don't have trees going through them) draws Maria out, blanket wrapped around her shoulders. Her face is pinched in worry, confusion.

But these are controlled fires. (As much as fires get controlled.) Deliberate and in barrels, trash cans. Someone did this on purpose?

She's a little transfixed by it when she approaches one, watching the way it billows out and up, the sparks flitting into the sky. Her expression relaxes some, leaning into the warmth.]

That smell...oh...it's kind of nice...

[Well, ok, I mean. Izzy was going to get into the kitchen to handle this, but, uh.... somebody else got the same idea. Can't cook anything in a dirty environment.]

Hey. Need some help there? Wanted to take inventory in here anyway.

[ Ibara is keeping himself busy, apparently doing a more in-depth investigation of things than he did yesterday. You're likely to run into him anywhere and everywhere outside of classes, with a notepad and pencil in hand, jotting down notes and maybe staring a little when he thinks you aren't looking.

He sure does play that off as soon you meet his eyes though, brightening up and standing tall with a smile and a salute. ]

Aaah, good morning, good morning! Were you able to sleep well last night? I'm sure we all had a great deal on our minds, and that many among us are probably unaccustomed to such lodgings...

That said, if there is anything I can personally do to make your stay more comfortable -- aside from removing those monsters, obviously! -- please do let me know! Ibara Saegusa is at your service! ☆


[ Later, he'll be checking out the music room -- primarily the stage, which he may be standing on top of when you come in, thoughtfully evaluating the venue.

(Verdict: It sucks.)

He looks pretty much at home on a stage, though. ]

[Waking up the next day in the same place puts a particular dampener on Maria's spirits. Surely, then, this isn't just a particularly strange dream? Which means...which means a lot of different things that are upsetting.

Think. What would Grandfather do? Well...he'd want her to keep her head up, that's the first thing. So. Deal with the issues, if she can, one at a time.

She shivers, the thin and barely-there blanket around her shoulders as she visits the dorms, politely knocking and looking rather pathetic really.]

Um, excuse me, but does this room happen to have extra blankets? Or...nicer ones? Oh, or maybe has someone found a place to get some? Someone's bound to catch themselves a death of cold like this.

[Ha, haha, and it definitely won't be her or anything!

Later, after trying to flatten out her hair and mostly getting it fingercombed through, it's time to do more exploring. While being very, very careful where she steps. In particular, she finds herself looking for the nurse's office and gives a cry at the state of it.]

Oh my goodness! This is just...terrible! [She's not touching that thank you!

She's winded by the time she makes it up to the sunroom, but at least she finds herself smiling a bit more at the sight.]

A little work, and this might actually be a nice room! Oh...maybe with a garden!

[Unlike some fellow anachronisms, Somnus was quiet about his confusion. Poking around the kitchen and investigating things like food storage and running water with an entirely too stoic scrutiny; dried food he was at least familiar with, but the cans eluded him somewhat. Well, he wasn't about to ask anyone about it--gods forbid he make a fool of himself in this impossible realm.]

[Okay. Deep breaths. Composure was the key; he couldn't face this as anything but the calm and collected king that he was. Somnus made his way through the building and outside--to a city in which he recognized absolutely nothing. Oddly structured buildings, chocobo-less carriages, roads of broken stone--but never mind that. Unfamiliar scenery wasn't what he came for, but to determine if he'd truly gained some new power with a blasphemous name. If he had, how would he utilize it? The obvious answer seemed to be to seek in the hollow space within himself where his Armiger should have laid, to find something lying within and pull-]

[He coughed and doubled over, hands going to his throat against a burning sensation that lasted only a moment before his concentration broke. Was this the power he was supposed to have? If so, he had a fair few complaints to level at their headmaster.]

[--(Sunday Night)--

It had been difficult for Mirio to leave the dining room after All For One's appearance. Seeing him, and all of those Nomu, had forced Mirio to completely rethink his stance on how to handle things going on here.

He waits for a long time, making sure everyone's either out of the room or heading back to their dorms before heading for his own at Boy's Dorm D, though he can easily be caught in the hallway before he gets there. It's the first time since he woke up that he's not smiling.

I can't wait to crush you...

Mirio rises early the next morning, heading Outside. It's a blessing to be able to leave these walls for some fresh air, for a given measure of it being "fresh", and go for a run. He's out here for at least an hour running laps around the field until he comes to a stop at the Courtyard with the fountain he met Tamaki at yesterday, sinking down to sit for a while on the bench, eyeing the flowers buffeted by the morning breeze.

Later in the day Mirio can be found Anywhere within the school walls, basically wandering and checking up on the others. His smile is back on his face like it'd never left, and depending on how you're doing (whether you're angrily lamenting your situation or visibly down in the dumps), Mirio will lean over with a:]

Hey. You doing alright?

[Or a:]

Wanna come on a walk with me? I've found that getting out of the school for a bit does more good than harm.

[Or any number of things.]

[ ...This has certainly been an experience for Choromatsu. And now he's stuck in this abandoned school while a supervillain tries to turn him and others into villains. Yes, Choromatsu's absolutely befuddled by this. Also...

...His brothers really are just not here, huh?

Anyways. He's mainly trying to roll with it at this point. To the best of his ability, at least.

Today, he's in class (Class 2-A to be exact), where he's sitting at one of the desks still trying to make sense of the pamphlet and the things said on it. He's mumbling to himself in confusion. ]

"Scream loudly"... "shockwaves"... Fortissimo??

[ Is that supposed to be his villain name or something?! It's...

Actually less insulting than he expected. Granted, he doesn't know what it means, but...

Later on, he's going to the Library and wow these books are not in good shape. Actually, the whole library isn't in good shape. Then again, the whole school isn't in good shape, so what was he expecting?

Choro sets aside a book he's managed to find that was still readable. He grabs a chair that looks unbroken and, despite his unease at sitting on a dirty chair, sits at the table.

...For about several seconds before he hears something creak.

Turns out the chair only looks broken. It's only then the legs of the chair give in and the chair collapses to the floor, sending his ass down with it. ]

AGHAGH--

[ And now Choro's sprawled on the floor.

Wincing a little bit, he sits up from the floor and kicks the chair away. Good news is, he hasn't gotten any worse injuries than a few scuffs (including one on the palm of one of his hands). He then brings his uninjured hand to his face, sighing. ]

Ugh... great.

[ Just his luck, huh?

And then later, he's wandering around trying to figure out where things are. He passes by the nurse's office at one point, casting one quick glance into the room before continuing on, but then he does a double take and looks back in horror.

The beds are covered in rusted blood.

...

Nope.

Nope he's walking away from this now he did not need to see that he's gonna pretend he didn't see that--

Only for him to bump into someone because he wasn't watching where he was going and cry out in alarm before stumbling and falling on his ass. ]

Ah-- I'mso-- Th-The beds! The beds are--!

Just a bit after AFO's Debut

[After the reveal of where they are and what's going on, Todoroki leaves the dining room. For a bit, his hands shake in fury and he has to get himself under control as sparks dance around him. His Quirk has been manipulated. He can't be sure that he can control it.

Which means he's not going to use it. Not until he's sure he's not going to just burn up everything in his way. He's not his father. He's not selfish like that.

He stands just outside the door, fingers hovering over the scar. If he sees you, especially if you were there as he opened the door, he'll drop his hand and incline his head.]

Earlier. About the door... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have acted without thought like that.

[And because Todoroki is a good hecking boy, he really does mean it.]

[So, this is just how it's going to be then.

Following dinner and... All Of That, Pyrrha can be caught still in the dining hall, seated at the same table she'd been sitting at while All For One was informing everyone of the new, mandatory course they would be taking. Rather than wander off to her own devices, she seemed to be pouring through one of those pamphlets everyone's probably found beside their beds.

Judging by the way her brow creases, she isn't liking what she's reading. Not helping, of course, is just how vague the information is.]

A "Quirk"...?
